Seagull Inn, Burnham-On-Sea

Not really a pub, just a truly awful evening entertainment venue which has a bar and serves averagely priced mass produced pub grub, burgers and pizzas to loud holiday makers. There is also a Sunday carvery. It is housed in a modern brick building that looks like an office block, which is adjoined by a conservatory style extension, light and airy but too hot to be comfortable. There is a car park, but you have to pay to use it. No real ale or cider, just a range of unadventurous keg, including keg Doombar, that can’t be enjoyed due to the surroundings and the vulgar throng. Their main customer base is holiday makers looking for low-brow entertainment acts. The staff are not at all friendly, barely functional, in fact. The venue closes between December and April. Dire.
