The Wrekin is a basic, fairly spartan pub with 6 handpumps, all selling guest beers. The beer is the main focus here, and it shows - every pint is well kept, at the right temperature, and the quality is superb. This time around I enjoyed both Oakhams and Titanic beers, and would love to have stayed for more. Thi spub should definitely be included on any Wellington crawl, and I try to make a point of coming here whenever I get the opportunity.

Nicely refurbished pub with a seating/dining area to the left of the door, dartboard to the right. Six handpumps serving 3 beers from Titanic and 3 from Bateman’s. Had a pint of the Bateman’s Eggs-B and a pint of the Titanic English Glory. Both were well kept. Had a pleasant chat with the landlord and one of the regulars. They have occasional beer festivals throughout the year. All in all a good pub that should be added to any crawl round Wellington.
