The original Swan was just up the road this was built to replace it when it was demolished in the 1960s for road improvements , it has been gradually extended over the years , the old bar as been knocked into the snug and the old lounge and small dining room have been knocked into one and a large conservatory dining room as been built on , usual tap stuff and unusually the only real ale on was a porter , Blacksheep Rudy Ram , its OK but the Cock Hotel is just across the road

This pub has been opened up and is now one large room. It's L shaped so still has a multi roomed feel. The back part of the pub is now a restaurant with a carvery/grill style menu. The front part of the pub still has a pool table. Three handpumps on the bar but all badged with Salopian Shropshire Gold. Had a pint of this which was fine. Not bad.
