Strongers . left this review about Miners Arms

The Miners Arms has a central entrance that opens into a small red tile floored L-shaped local’s boozer with a U-shaped serving counter on the rear wall that faces some seating on the front wall to the right of the entrance. More seating sits on the right-hand wall in between two dartboards, and to the left of the entrance is a pool table with seating across the front and left-hand walls. The televisions at either end of the pub were both off, but there was some modern music playing at too high a volume for early on a Wednesday evening when the customers consisted of me and an old couple. Standard and premium keg products were available, and Bank’s Amber was on one of the four hand pumps, the others being off or unused. I wasn’t that taken with this pub so don’t plan to return.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Miners Arms

Solid-looking pub on a bypassed road, but well lit so visible from some distance in the evening. Opened out at some stage, from what might have been four rooms originally, and given something of a refurbishment too (either then or later). Popular pool table at one end and a dartboard at the other. Patio seating area at the front. Busy enough on a Saturday night, and whilst very much a local's pub, the landlady was welcoming to a visitor and the place had a good mixture of young and old. As a Banks's house, just Bitter (£2.45) and Mild available from two banks of three handpumps, but it's achieved Cask Marque accreditation.
