Formerly the Seven Stars(the area is still called Seven Stars) the pub was rebuilt and extended over many years untill it was demolished and re-built in the early 1990s as the Elephant and Castle a trendy Bar/Club this lasted about 10 years before closing down and laying abandoned for a few years untill being turned into the Blue Elephant Indian
