Oggwyn Great left this review about Brewery Inn
A few minutes drive away from the tourist traps of Ironbridge lies Coalport , once a hive of activity (the Industrial Revolution started around here) it boasted 2 railway stations , one either side of the river , and a canal serving the various industries , it is now a sleepy village spread along the banks of the Severn .
Overlooking the Severn is the Brewery a 19th Century pub that was once a Brewery hence the name , the ramp for the Barrels to be loaded onto River Barges still exists , inside the pub is a bit disappointing being just one long narrow room and fairly bland , lots of raffle prizes scattered around and lots of books for sale for local charities , outside is a patio overlooking a tree lined stretch of the river .
Two handpulls with just one clipped , a decent Bath Forest Hare , most people were eating on our Saturday afternoon visit , portions were large and looked good .
It has tie ups for horses on the carpark and day tickets are available for fishing on the pubs stretch of river .
