Will Larter left this review about Barley Mow Inn

A large, multi-roomed pub with some benches and a small marquee for outdoor drinking. TV screens on every wall, with horse racing clashing with inane afternoon telly in one room, but a different and just-as-annoying channel on in the other room when I tried to find some peace and quiet. As much chance as finding some real ale - I went for smooth Banks's Original - it was either that or smooth bitter, which would have no doubt been just as cold as the mild. Not a pub for beer tourists.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Barley Mow Inn

Unbranded Marston's pub, retaining two separate bars but the room labelled 'Lounge' is now a very plain public bar with a pool table, dartboard and sports TV. The much larger room is more comfortably furnished, with several different seating areas (and more sports TVs). Small patio seating area to the side. Banks's Bitter (£2.25) and Hobgoblin available from two of three handpumps. Very much a local.

Oggwyn Great left this review about Barley Mow Inn

Two room pub at the top of Madley main street , a locals pub obviously refurbed in the 80s , plain bar and a large open plan lounge with a few engraved mirrors and a few quiz machines and gamblers divided by low walls , only real ale on Bankss Bitter , this could be a good pub but needs a bit of TLC
