Fairly standard pub right by the station. It has 3 hand pumps of which 2 were dispending real ale. Not bad for a quiet afternoon drink.

This pub is close to the train station and it is the first pub you will see if going to Alsager on train.
The pub has been opened out inside and now has one longish room with different drinking areas.
As the last two reviews said this pub caters mainly for younger drinkers and there are no real ales on the bar the only bitter was Tetley smooth crap so i had a Guinness.
This is not a pub i would hurry back to.

Great pub,mainly younger folk.I go in there regulary have meet alot of new mates there locals and some students. I remember those big jenga games they used to play.

Remember nipping in for a quick one with Tim Bowker about 5 years ago one Sunday lunchtime. Had a game of giant Jenga and pool. Left about 11pm. Felt rough for about a month afterwards... Heard new management are naff, don't go in anymore though
