Close to the canal bridge,this is a very traditional drinkers pub with a Marston's tie.The Pedigee and Old Empire were in excellent condition and there was a friendly welcome at the bar.To the left of the front door is the public bar while to the right is a neat lounge where aunt sally is played.Well used by locals but no sign of evening food,this is a good boozer.
