Alan Winfield left this review about The Railway Inn
The Railway is a decent sized pub that is just up the road from the far better Locomotive.
The entrance to this pub seems to be guarded by smoking police, two when i took my photo then when i walked back from the Locomotive they were sat on the pubs steps but they did move when a walked towards them.
Once inside the pub has been opened out into one largish L shaped room, the bar was to the right, the room was carpeted and had comfortable bench seating and small stools, there was a seperate pool room to the left near the pubs entrance.
The Fulham v Stoke game was being shown on a large screen with Spanish commentry.
There were no real ales on the bar and the keg option was John Smiths smooth crap or the even worse Boddingtons cream crap,i opted for the John Smiths and this was a very poor drink.
The pub was very busy with mainly younger drinkers,i think this pub is best left for them.
