Pool Dole is an estate and sports pub in a residential area far enough north of Longton to ensure that not many out-of-towners like me ever visit. To the left is a laminate floored public bar with seating up the left in between a pool table to the front and a dartboard the rear. The televisions were airing muted football on TNT Sport, Sky Sports is also advertised, while some background music played. Standard keg was available alongside Birra Moretti, and two of the three hand pumps were in use drawing Pedigree and Bass. There’s also a lounge area, but it was lights-out during a recent midweek evening visit. The service from the young barman was very friendly and I enjoyed my stop off, however the location means that I’ll probably never visit again.

The Pool Dole is a 70s built estate pub that is in a fairly nice area of Fenton,it is in an elevated area giving good views over Stoke.
Once inside the pub had two seperate rooms,i had a drink in the bar which was on the right side,this was a fairly big room that was smart enough,there was a long bench seat running down the right side of this room,this faced the bar,there were a few normal tables and chairs in the middle of the room which is where i sat,the rest of the room was very busy with locals,there was a pool table to the rear of this room.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Pedigree,this was a nice drink.
I found this to be a friendly enough pub that seemed to be very populer with the locals,i enjoyed my visit here.
