Staple shaped interior with three rooms separated by an archway. Red carpet, double glazing and a mix of exposed brick and white wallpaper walls. The whole place was as clean as a whistle. Rammed for bonfire night with a nice bunch of locals in situ. Six ales on; Doom Bar, Pedigree, Joules Slumbering Monk, some old rubbish from Cottage, 4Ts IPA (excellent nick) and Newby Wyke Orsino (very good shape). Local CAMRA branch POTY in 2016 and easy to see why – a very good pub.

The Huntsman is situated on the western edge of Cheadle.
Once inside there was one long room running the width of the pub which was divided into different areas, the left side had bench seating and the right side normal tables and chairs, the room is carpeted throughout, there was a pool table to the rear right.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Newby Wyke Orisono which was quite a nice drink, the other beers were Newby Wyke HMS Warrior and Peakstones Alton Pride.
Nice beer, nice pub but far too quiet for my liking,no music or TVs it was like drinking in a morge and it was fairly busy with drinkers.
