Alan Winfield left this review about The Holly Bush
The Holly Bush is a sturdy looking pub that is on the corner of keelings road and cardwell street but it fronts onto cardwell street.
Once inside there was a very basic bar to the right, the room was carpeted to the front and had a lino floor to the rear, the seating was leather bench seats which faced the bar and small stools, there were tall chairs at the bar, there was a smaller lounge to the left which was empty on my visit.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bass which was a decent drink, the other beers were Tetley mild and O'Hanlons Stormstay.
There were a few other locals in on my mid saturday afternoon visit.
This pub was ok for a quick half.
