The Gardeners Arms is a nice looking pub that has got a fair sized garden to the front.
Once inside the pub had two seperate rooms,there was a nice and comfortable bar to the front,this was a fairly narrow room with bare boards and comfy bench seating,there is a larger lounge to the rear,this room is carpeted and had a pool table and large screen TV showing football.
The pub is a Marstons tied house and there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons Burton bitter which was a very nice well kept beer,the other beers were Pedigree and Ringwood XXXX Porter.
The pub was packed with Stoke fans who seemed friendly enough.
This would be a really nice pub to visit on a quieter time.
