Alan Winfield left this review about The Blacksmiths Arms
The Blacksmiths Arms is a country pub situated a few miles north of Cheadle.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing, the floor was part carpeted and tiled, there was comfy bench seating facing the bar and normal tables and chairs elsewhere, there was a TV at each end of the room showing the Liverpool v Everton game, there is a darts board to the left, the rear left side looked more like a dining area.
The pub is a Marstons tied house, there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons bitter which was a decent drink, the other beers were Pedigree and Hobgoblin.
The pub was very busy with mainly younger drinkers.
My brother commented that this pub was more like a town pub but in the country, nothing wrong with that though.
This is a smart and lively pub.
