Oggwyn Great left this review about The Red Barn
Nice looking pub dating from the 1930s , but built on the site of an older pub in what was once a small hamlet before the expansion of the town .
It has had a few extensions and refurbs over the years and is now really just one large room divided into several sections , the bar area has pool , darts and large TV showing sport while the quieter lounge area has views out over the large beer garden .
Pretty busy on my Tuesday night visit with a good mix of drinkers in the bar and diners in the lounge , the food was good if a little pricey .
Usual Keg taps and 5 handpulls with a couple of nationals ,Pedigree, Doombar etc and a decent Wye Valley HPA though it looses a point for my 2nd pint being served in a lager glass .
Service was friendly , will happily call again .
