Strongers . left this review about The Old Bell
The Old Bell has a room to the left of the entrance with a dartboard and pool table and seating is found across the front right windows and opposite the counter up the right-hand wall. In the rear are some tables set for dining. The four hand pumps on the counter were all unused, so the draught options stretched to standard and premium keg. The barmaid was polite, but I was the only customer, which was a bit depressing, especially because muted Corrie was on a television behind the bar while some random background music played. Like the Brick up the road, this pub is too far out from the town centre to warrant a revisit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old Bell
Traditional-looking Marston's local that is a bit of a surprise inside since it has been thoroughly refurbished in a bright modern style and is quite food orientated. Several seating areas within the partly opened-out interior. B&B accommodation also offered. Three of four handpumps in operation on this visit, offering Sweet Chariot, Banks's Sunbeam and Jennings Night Vision.

Very bright pub that obviously majors on food. There are bench seats in the window that are so high off the floor that my feet didn't touch the ground when I sat there and I'm 6 foot tall. If I had been with the other half I would have had to lift her on and off. What a strange idea. 4 handpumps on the bar Bank's Bitter and Original, Jennings Cumberland (all a bit bland for me) and the superb Ringwood XXXX Porter. Guess which I had! A very good pint it was too. Not really my type of pub put pleasent nontheless.
