Oggwyn Great left this review about Beacon Hotel
Originally a private house the Beacon Villa it was converted to a pub in 1939 , the front has a large split garden , half decked , half grass , inside it is very beefeater, ish , open plan with lots of blue/grey wood , very dining led it has the usual keg taps plus some more unusual ones such as Kozel .
Unusually for a dining style pub this place has 7 handpulls with Bass , TT Boltmaker , Salopian Gold and Golden Thread and 3 from Wye Valley Butty Bach , DG Golden Ale and a decent HPA .
Much better than expected .
