Interesting one, this. Parts dating to the 17th century the frontage looks more Georgian with a raised entrance accessed via stairs. The interior has two areas, a bar room and more of a lounge. The bar had Tvs with the darts on and no music, while a dart game seemed to be going on in the lounge. Fox art and old photos populated the walls and the was a good mixed clientele. Service was good. Ale wise, Wye Valley HPA, Butty Bach and a good Hobsons Town Crier. Enjoyable stop off.
