A detached corner pub in white render and black beams, with a double gable at the front. There is a beer patio at the back.
The interior has two rooms, which i visied on different dates and I think the pub has been taken over in the meantime. To the left when entering the main entrance is a small bar, which i visited recently. It is predominantly in white and white painted stonework, with wood floor. There is an exposed stone chimney breast and a deep blue painted dart area. There is also a central pool table and a TV, which had a silent channel 5 programme on. There are a few stoneware jugs for decoration. The main room is to the left, which i visited in Feb. The lights were all out in this room at my last visit. It is an L-shaped room, a sort of bar/lounge. It was in yellow and red, with some exposed stone, with white beamed ceiling and a red tile floor, there is a brick fireplace and there was both a dart board and a pool table, with a TV. A few pictures are on the walls and there was mixed seating; settles, sofa, chairs and stools.
Beer; general tap stuff with GK IPA and Pedigree on handpull. The Ped was OK.
The pub may be in a state of transition. A solid enough pub, with pub games, a place to pop into for one.
