The 3rd pub on the road into the town. A nice enough looking pub from outside and once inside there are 2 rooms. The larger room is to the left and here the bar has 3 handpumps dispending Lancaster Bomber, Hobgob and Marston's Saddle Tank on my visit. The interior is very orange. This, like the previous pub The Lord, was also receiving a fresh lick of paint. Quiet on my Tuesday afternoon visit.

The Joiners Arms is a standard looking pub from the outside.
Once inside the pub had a smart looking single room with the bar facing but to the right, the room had comfy bench seating and small stools, there was a small area to the left which had a dart board and TV,this area had leather bench seats, there was a small snug to the far right which had a large screen showing the rugby.
The pub is a Marstons house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons Burton bitter which was a very nice drink, the other beer was Brakspear Oxford Gold.
The pub was almost empty apart from myself and a friend of the landlord who were playing darts.
I quite liked this pub and would happily have few drinks here.
This pub is up for sale at the moment, which is a shame.

I would like to start by saying that I am the landlord of this pub. I would welcome anyone to visit and try the real ales, the "tap tosh" as it is sometimes called and review a pub from the heart of shropshire that is doing its best to be traditional. Whether it is beer and a pickeled egg or darts and a good pint, I would welcome the feedback to make this a truly great British pub. Thank you. Brian.
