This is a one room bar with a tropical style theme. The same people also own the restaurant across the way. There was some Cuban music playing on our early evening arrival and the barman was friendly and chatty. Two handpumps with one in use serving Shropshire Gold. The barman enquired if we were dining in the restaurant across the way, maybe on a future visit as the place does have a good reputation.

Part of the restaurant situated across the alleyway. This separate bar is long and stretches back. Slightly arty decor with loads of pillows on the chairs. There were 2 handpulls and the beers was fine. Its not particularly pubby and is more wine bar styled. Beers were from Ludlow Brewery.

Only had time for a quick five minute visit so i did not get to have a proper look around , the Globe is situated off on the narrow streets off Ludlows main square , you enter down a side alley , the old part of the pub is to the right and is now mainly used as a Thai resturant , to the left is a more modern building a bit like an upmarket function room , the bar is at the near end and the far end leads out to an oriental style beer garden .
Usual keg taps with only one real ale , a very good Hobsons bitter served by a very friendly barmaid .
I quite liked it in here , it warrants a longer visit .
