Under new ownership, the Royal Oak has a small bar area at the front, with a dining area beyond. Just a handful of friendly locals were in the bar on my Friday evening visit.
Batham's Best Bitter is a regular ale here. The guest was Holden's Golden Glow, whilst they also had Lilley's Pineapple Cider.

A small main building in cream and green with a larger, low level, extension for the restaurant area. There is a patio. The interior is open plan and allows direct access to the restaurant as you would expect. The bar area is small and is in white artex, olive wood and beamed ceiling. Some traditional photos are next to arty prints (and fairy lights). The TV had sport on and the music was soft. Service was fine and the clientele seemingly local as the food had stopped. Beer: usual tap stuff with HPA, Enville Ale and a nice Batham's bitter. Another more than solid pub, worth a look for one... or two.
