A pleasant if locally backstreet boozer away from the main Eynsham drag, a Cotswold stone build with lots of the stuff exposed within. A rectangular room with a handful of dining tables to the left along with a central, open fireplace housing a modern stove-burner. A square-shaped bar is located to the top right-hand corner, leaving limited seating and standing space. Just the two ales - Morland Original and 'Gangly Ghoul' (the latter actually very good for a national seasonal beer). Two other pumps were unclipped on the other side of the bar's L-shape. Some of the locals were on their way, including a rather sweary Mother who seemed unconcerned with her choice of language in front of children, so I didn't hang around for too long. A midday visit would be the optimum time to drop in if you're thinking of doing an Eynsham crawl.
