The Talbot is a long fronted stone built pub that is quite close to the River Thames.
Once inside there is one very long room running the width of the pub,the main bar area is to the left, there is a TV in this area showing BBC football score updates, the seating is normal tables and chairs, there is a dining area to the right which is carpeted and has normal tables and chairs, this area was empty on my Saturday afternoon visit.
The pub is an Arkells tied house which i always like doing, there were no pumps on the bar,but there were four barrels behind the bar and all in use,i had a drink of Arkells 3B which went down very well, the other beers were Arkells Moonlight,Kingsdown and a Ting of Ging.
There are a few picnic tables across the car park which overlooks a tributary of the Thames.
This is a decent pub that i was well pleased to go in.
