The one-way system in this bar/restaurant/hotel was very confusing, with arrows pointing in all directions. I managed to follow a couple which led me to dead ends! So, I gave up and used my pub nose to sniff out the bar.
Butcombe Original & Adnams Ghost Ship were the real ales on offer here. But this does feel more like a hotel bar than a proper pub. I followed some more one-way signs to exit and ended up in a car park at the rear, before eventually finding my way back onto the High Street to move on from what had been a decidedly below average set of pubs in Dorchester-on-Thames.

Looks posh, enter through modern sliding doors. Punters a bit less posh than the other two nearby outlets. Nice front bar, room to right for dining less characterful. Football on the telly. Three ales; Hooky Lion, Adnams Bitter (decent) and Brakspear Ordinary. My Adnams came in a sticky glass. The weakest of the three we did that evening but a fair spot nonetheless.
