A former Well's house, but still under Fuller's clutches, and albeit much neater, cleaner and tidier since Quinno's 2014 visit. Occupying a corner plot overlooking Wallingford's Kinecroft 'open green space' I was the only punter in on an early Sunday arvo visit, so had a chance to have good chat with the Assistant Manager. Just London Pride and ESB available at the tiny bar, with a third pump unclipped: the Pride setting me back a cool £6.20(!) The landlord is Greek-Cypriot, and the menu has a similar cuisinal slant (Moussaka, Gyros, etc.) along with pub grub favs such as ham, egg & chips. A large fish tank with orange parrotfish and aged silver dollar fish (piranha cousins) dominate the centre of the room, but don't touch the tank! This place comes into its own in the summer, with outdoor seating affording verdant views, and is the de facto watering hole for the many events held at Kinecroft during the Spring/Summer months. Whether the prices and limited range put people off is another matter, but it's a lovely-looking pub (from the outside) in a lovely-looking location, so I can't bring myself to be too harsh on it.

Fullers pub with a nice position overlooking the green. Two rooms, low ceilinged front bar with not much character. Rear has pool and darts. Generally unkempt - sticky tables, flies in the gents. Quiet on my visit, though those who were there were quite chavvy punters. Three Fullers ales, Chiswick (so-so), Pride and ESB. Seems to get plaudits due its location but frankly it seems no better than the Boathouse down the road when judged as a pub.

Superbly located little pub on the Krinny (that's the Kine Croft to you). Two small rooms, a functional public bar complete with darts and Sky TV, and a slightly plusher best room which seems popular with the more mature locals. It's fairly cosy in winter, and pleasant to sit outside in summer. In any other country there would be tables and umbrellas half way across the park in summer but no doubt the council jobsworths would get up tight if we did that here. It rightly gets fearfully busy when the fair or any other outdoor event is staged outside. With the usual Fullers range, Chiswick, Pride, ESB in decent condition it's well worth calling in when on a tour of the town's cultural attractions.

Small 2 bar pub overlooking the park. One bar is mainly used for eating and the other bar which is much smaller and is for drinking.Fine Fuller's beers on offer
