An attractive Fuller's pub at the very lower reaches of Thame's long High Street. Looks the business from outside, and inside it retains some Olde Worlde charm - a flagstoned alcove room to the left, a semi-horseshoe bar to the right with narrow room far right. Another boxier room (set out for dining) to the bar's left and some table and chair stuff on the peripheries. Five ales, although only three available (Yesses = London Pride, Oliver's Island and ESB, Nos = HSB, Seafarers). I went for an ESB, and still await a try of a decent cask version - another watery proffering. This doesn't detract from the ambience - a super interior, nice patio out back, friendly staff and some crafty bits in the fridges behind the bar if you're feeling adventurous. This should be included on a crawl of Thame (which seems to be running out of pubs) although a Fuller's-only diet may sway your decision.

Food very good here & reasonably priced, but book otherwise you have to order & pay at bar for food & drink throughout meal - not good! Gets very busy at the weekend.
