Accurately described below, with a pool table and dross playing on the TV. Otherwise it's a bit of a simple place and certainly from a drinking perspective, there's precious little to recommend it. Lots of lagers, thereafter two pumps, one clip reversed then just Fuller's London Pride at a pricey £2.30 a half and otherwise about as good as this dull beer is ever going to get.
There's little to warrant a trip out to this part of town. If you want a gastropub there's the Punter at the end of the road and if you want a more rewarding drinking experience then its the Porterhouse. I for One won't be returning.

Basically an Oriental restaurant with a bar area housed in a pretty building. Brightly lit with a 1990s digital display sign inside. Inevitable Oriental chintz but clean and tidy nonetheless, though the epilepsy-inducing flickery light above my head was annoying. Oddly, a stack of FHM magazines for perusal and a pool table as well. Tasteful, quiet background muzak. Two pumps but just one on, Hardy & Hansons Kimberley (aka GK and boy did it taste like it), in fairly lackadaisical condition. They've clearly spent a few quid on the place and it's nicely done. Though as a pub it's a basic exercise and I must score accordingly. Formerly called the White House.
