Big olde-worlde country pub, that looks like it was converted from a barn, given the high ceilings and imposing interior. The place seemed to be a full-time crèche on my Sunday visit - small children and their toys everywhere. Not to my liking but great if you want family-friendly, I guess. Ale-wise, standard Greene King fare, my Morlands was OK. A couple of punters made grumpy noises when I took a pic of the pub sign - thought they'd have better things to worry about, frankly, judging by the state of their boat races. Found the place a bit like Paris - nice place, not keen on the natives.
