The sole remaining pub in this village which once boasted four, this leans towards the gastro side, but there's no truck with the solo drinker. Two-levelled, this has a dining area located to the right down a couple of steps with the remainder of the interior given over to drinking and 'pub dining'. The dining area is low ceilinged with brushed, exposed wood, the bar area is higher-ceilinged and has a variety of seating. The small bar offered GK IPA, Morland Original, Belhaven 30 Shilling and TT Landlord, so the former three give an indication of who might be in charge here. Laid-back chill out music probably doesn't fit here, but a smallish beer garden across the car park looks inviting and has an Aunt Sally pitch, so all might not be lost on a clement day.

Was in The White Hart on Sunday May 2 whilst on our way to Reading. 31 of us piled in for breakfast and a few beers. The place is fantastic, the breakfast was superb and the beer went down very very well. Thanks to Becks (the owner not the beer) for the great time we had and we'll be seeing you again.
