Strongers . left this review about The Queens Arms
The Queens Arms is a local’s boozer that is tucked away in the back streets of old Didcot so I doubt that there is much passing trade. The ten or so builders that were in attendance on a recent Thursday afternoon looked and acted as if this was their usual hangout. This is a Greene King establishment with the main bar area and seating to the right and a smaller bar that houses table football, a pool table and a dartboard to the left. I spotted at least one plasma screen and this pub has Sky Sports. The bar is stocked with standard draught products and one unused hand pump sits next to two more clipped with Morland Original badges.
To the left of the pub are two or three picnic tables. It was whilst sitting in the garden that I noted down the weekly activities that are displayed on a chalkboard. These were crib on Mondays, darts on Tuesdays, pool and the local Oxfordshire game of Aunt Sally on Wednesdays, poker on Thursdays and a meat raffle on Sunday afternoon.
I found the service to be very friendly and I would use this pub if I lived locally.
