A free house in this village in the Chipping Norton surrounds, there's loads of exposed stone internally as you'd expect in these parts. The inside is sub-divided into three clear sections: a central main bar area (which you enter into) and two raised dining areas either side, the left of which is partly hidden by stone wall. The bar area is flagstoned, with the dining areas wooded-floor and there's a super beer garden to the left of the building which is well worth exploring if the weather's nice, as it was during my visit. The four handpumps consisted of Sharp's Doom Bar, Sharp's Point Break, Wantsum Hengist, and Old Rosie cider (the Point Break was £1.75 a half), which was disappointing considering the chalkboard behind bar listing recent ales on tap, including several locals.
