An imposing building, predominantly hotel, with a small bar located to the left on entry which served Hook Norton Hooky Bitter (a second handpump was unclipped) for £1.60 a half. There's some nice bric-a-brac in a vaulted-ceilinged anteroom with seating in your way into the bar, but other than this, little of note or to encourage a revisit.
