Blackthorn _ left this review about Bitter and Twisted

A traditional looking, stone-built pub in a prime position in the centre of Chipping Norton’s High Street, it consists of a single U-shaped room wrapped around the bar counter, although there also appeared to be a balcony on a higher level, but we did not investigate this.

Décor wise it’s fairly traditional, with rough wooden boards on the floor, a whitewashed ceiling with thick wooden beams, and plain white plasterwork on the walls. The colour scheme is predominantly teal, with teal bench seating, teal chairs, teal cushions and even the bar counter is clad with teal velour. The beams on the ceiling were liberally decorated with floral garlands and fairly lights, and elsewhere a number of hanging garlands provided something of a screen between adjacent areas. A few small pictures were dotted around the walls, but there was really little of any note. A TV screen in the corner was showing a sports channel, but the volume was off so this was not too intrusive.

The solitary beer on tap was Butty Bach, although there was a second pump on the bar that was being pulled through just as we left, but it was not clipped. The solitary cider was Purity Pure, which is a new one on me.

Alan Winfield left this review about Stones

Stones is a modern bar that is in an old building in the middle of Chipping norton.
Once inside there was one largish room that was decent enough, there may have been other rooms but i did'nt look around the place.
There was one real ale on here this was Greene King IPA which was a decent enough drink.
The pub was quite busy with mainly younger drinkers.
I think this pub may have changed its name since my visit.
