Seemed quite down to earth for this touristy posh town, where they prefer antiques to boozers.
Front bar has a dartboard....
Rear room setup for dining.
Three unusual LocALEs - with me plumbing for a decent half of Stroud Brewery Budding.
Offer a full menu (with sandwiches) on a Sunday lunch, rather than just err.. Sunday Lunches.

Date visited: 13th October 1989.
Popped in here with a group of four friends and had a very good pub lunch and a pint. A beautiful location in a picturesque town makes it all the more special.

Not bad. Pictureseque looking both inside and out. Only had 1 pint on a midweek late afternoon and was frequented with youngsters from town. Not many though and all well-behaved. Didn't wander into back bar. Good for a quick one on the High St
