Since Gill's visit the Plough has endured a major refurbishment and been inexplicably renamed. It's now the usual sanitised gastro arrangement, formal restaurant to the left, bar to the right and a seating area to the back where I suspect drinkers are banished during the busier meal times. Decor is of the now traditional faecal pastel shades. There's a windswept outdoor seating area commanding views of the car park. It's in the GBG, Hook Norton, Ringwood and a couple of Xmas brews in good condition, but ambitiously priced at £3.40 for ordinary bitter. Given that the offer seems to be a lack of pubbiness in return for central London prices I think this one is best passed by.

Friendly pub off the main road through Adderbury. Wells house serving Wells Bombardier and Youngs Bitter, both in good condition. Friendly black labrador spread out on the floor. Didn't eat here, but the menu looked good.
