Strongers . left this review about The Musketeer

The Musketeer is a large L-shaped pub with a central wood panelled L-shaped serving counter that supports standard and premium keg alongside Neck Oil and two pairs of hand pumps, three hand pumps were unused and the Bombardier was off. There’s some booth seating on the right-hand wall and high tables run along the front windows and up the left-hand wall opposite the counter. High banquettes run up the right-hand wall opposite a pool table at the rear that is overlooked by a projector screen that hangs on rear wall. This screen, and televisions throughout, were airing muted Sky Sports while some background music played during a recent midweek mid-afternoon visit. I was hoping to get some food which is advertised externally on the pub, but I didn’t spot any menus and none of the ten or so locals in attendance were eating so I decided to give it a miss. Out the back is a large lawn and patio with lots of picnic tables and children’s climbing apparatus, this does feel like a community local. The service was friendly, but the lack of any interesting draught and the location out-of-town means that I’ll not be revisiting.

Large car park, good wheelchair access. Big bar area with a rundown, scruffy appearance. The beer was not great.
Unless big things happen here I cannot recommend it.
