This pub is now free of the Hook Norton tie and had two Silverstone beers on tap (Pit Stop and Chequered Flag) as well as one from Phipps NBC (IPA) all of which were in good shape. A cosy interior as described below, and lots of emphasis on the Formula 1 with motoring paraphernalia all around.

The Inn is a stone built pub which has no front entrance so walk round the back to gain access to this pub.
Once inside there was a single room with a raised dining area to the right the bar was to the left this room was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs,to the far right there was a bar billiards table and a TV which was on fairly quiet, there was some decent music being played through speakers.
This pub is a Hook Norton tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hookey bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was York Terrier.
I quite liked this pub and could have happily stayed longer if not on a pub crawl.

the pub owned by Hook Norton is situated in the village centre, it has 5 real ale choices of Hook Norton beer, and is also served daytime by 508 Brackley to Banbury bus service.
The village is in Northamptonshire just off the B4525, Banbury to Northampton Rd , close A43.
Also situated close to A422 from Farthighoe direction.
The pub does an exotic steak night on a Wednesday, and a OAP meal consisting of 2 courses for £5 on a Tuesday lunch.ring 01295 710976.
it also serves the local community.
