An unashamedly GK house with plenty of GK livery abounding outside. Of five potential handpumps, one offered Marstons Pedigree and the other (reversed) London Pride. Internally it's low-ceilinged and considering the road it's on runs parallel to the A34, it's conceivable this could have been a coaching inn back in the day. Bit of a T-shape inside with the bar dead ahead to the back as you enter from the car park, with a separate dining area situated off the right-hand middle. Very local vibe and a clutch of locals were eating on a late Sunday afternoon. A half of the Marstons was iffy to say the least and set me back £1.75.
