When i went in this pub it was called the Red Lion and this was a modern estate type pub that was built to replace the original Red Lion which was closed down,ironically the older Red Lion is still standing and in use as a community centre and the replacement one has been pulled down.
Once inside there were two rooms with a smart lounge and a more basic bar,both of these were decent enough rooms to have a drink in.
The pub used to be a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on the bar and both Shipstones bitter and mild were decent drinks here.
