This pub was originally called the Deep Cellar and it was a Shipstones tied house with a very nice drink of Shipstones bitter on the bar.
Middletons is a 60s built pub that is in a fairly nice area of Nottingham.
Once inside the the pub had a front room that was bare boarded with tall tables and chairs in the middle of the room and normal tables and chairs around the sides,i had a drink in this room, the room to the rear was carpeted with normal tables and chairs most tables in this area were laid out for diners.
There were four real ales on the bar with a better choice in the rear bar,i had a drink of Castle Rock Harvest Pale which was a very nice drink the other beers were Navigation Stout,Pedigree and Sharpes Doom Bar.
The pub was fairly quiet on my late afternoon visit but i thought it was a decent enough pub to have a couple of drinks in.
