Graham Coombs left this review about Beaumond Cross Inn

A small independent hotel with 10 rooms and three cottages to let. The rather chintzy interior felt more like a breakfast lounge/dining room with numerous tables laid up, but it was all quite tidy and welcoming and the staff were friendly. There were two handpumped ales from Pheasantry, as well as keg offerings Galway Nitro Stout, Woodfordes Norfolk Adder cider and a 'guest' lager of unknown origin. Home cooked food was advertised. Not really a drinkers' pub and the ales were a bit pricey, but it made a pleasant enough interlude.

Nothing but a standard hotel bar - only thing worth drinking was Guinness.

The mail Coach is no more, it has changed it's name to the Beaumond Cross Hotel and decided not to sell draught beer, just bottles. We walked in, gaped at the empty bar and walked out. No score as nothing to score.

Recently taken over by new management, it has been completely and tastefully re-furbished inside, There are further plans to develop outside with a large conservatory. There were 5 real ales with at least 2 pumps rotating. The landlord told me that he was supporting as many microbreweries as possible especially local to the area. I tried a couple of beers and they were in very good condition.
