Alan Winfield left this review about Lord Ted
The Lord Ted is a large modern pub that is on the west side of Newark and close to the busy Newark bypass.
Once inside there is a large single L shaped room with the bar facing on entry, the room is carpeted and the seating a mix of bench seating and normal tables and chairs, the left side of the room is up two steps and this area has a very high ceiling just like all other Fayre & Square pubs.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of GK IPA which went down well after a decent walk here.
The pub was packed on my Thursday dinner visit with mainly family diners.
The one good thing about this pub is that drinkers can drink anywhere in the pub.
This pub knocks spots off Newarks other dining pub The Roman Way on the other side of town.
