Strongers . left this review about William IV (The Top House)

The William IV is a long and thin Marstons pub with seating to the right of the entrance, and the bar area to the left where a short serving counter sits on the rear wall where it faces a long banquette under the front windows. Further left there’s a mix of seating and even further is a large tile floored area with a pool table and dartboard with plenty of standing room making this an ideal pub for pool and dart league matches, although I’m not sure if there are any teams. There are televisions throughout that were airing muted cricket while some music that was a bit loud for late on a Monday afternoon played. The service was polite, but this is a local’s boozer with just standard and premium keg options so I don’t think anyone is going well out of their way to pay a visit.
