In a less salubrious area of Mansfield, the Ladybrook is a large flat roof community pub located opposite the local shops. Walking to the entrance I noted an empty front right function room through a window, and then straight ahead of the entrance was an empty right-hand bar that houses a pool table and dartboard. The carpeted left-hand side did have a few people in, although most of them were preschool, I assume belonging to the bar staff. Seating runs across the front wall and up the left-hand wall, an L-shaped serving counter is found in the right rear corner. Standard keg and Cruzcampo were available from the less than welcoming barmaid that managed to serve me by only using glances. I didn’t feel comfortable in here and thought it was a very unfriendly place never to be visited again.
