There was very loud music being played in the Bowl on a recent Thursday evening visit when the disco lights were blazing and the DJ was dressed up as a rabbit. The pool table had been covered and pushed to the wall to make more room so they must have been expecting a good crowd, although there were only a handful of people in. The L-shaped serving counter on the rear wall supports standard and premium keg and the barmaid was patiently training a younger barmaid who looked like she had just started her first ever job. This is a forgettable laminate floored high street boozer where the only real thing of note is the impressive leaded stained-glass windows on the front.
