A plain vanilla sort of pub: a tidy clean interior of one room with a bar to the side. There is a dartboard and a couple of sport TVs to keep the locals amused. Draught ales were Wainwright, Youngs and Braks, but at least the barman showed enthusiasm, pulling some through before serving without being prompted.

The Walnut Tree is a smallish looking pub.
Once inside there was a long narrow room which ran to the rear of the pub,the bar was on the left side, the room was carpeted and there was 1 step up to the rear area, the seating was normal tables and chairs.
There was a tv at the far end of the pub showing football, there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Shepherd Neame Spitfire which was a very nice drink, the other beers were London Pride and Bombardier.
This is a locals pub that had a good lively atmosphere.
We quite liked this pub and would have happily had a few more drinks here if not on a pub crawl.
