Alan Winfield left this review about The Goat
The Goat is a large roadside pub that is on the main Market Deeping to Spalding road.
Once iinside there were quite a few different rooms along the front of the pub,the right side seemed more like a proper dining room, the main bar was in the middle, this was a smallish square shaped room that had a beamed ceiling with loads of pump clips on it,this room had bare brick walls like the rest of the pub, there was a large conservatory to the left.
There were five real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Batemans Spring Goddess which was a very nice light beer, the other beers were Hopshackle Sumo,Elland Calderd Ale and Thwaites Original.
The pub was very busy with drinkers in the area i had a drink and diners in the dining area, the pub seemed popular with families with children.
I quite enjoyed my drink in here and could have happily settled in the bar area for a few drinks.
