Doesn't look much from the outside but decent enough in. There’s a restaurant to the left and tap room to the right. This is a fairly small and unfussily decorated affair, though if you follow it round you come to a whacky rear room with brick tile flooring and undressed timber ceiling. Drinking area of choice is the impressive manicured rear garden. A fairly lively crowd for a Sunday afternoon, though the joys of Kiss FM as the background noise wasn’t great. Vaping allowed inside. Two ales on; Courage Best and TT Landlord that was not quite right, served up by slow and inefficient staff. It’s one of those local oddities that you can’t ever imagine in your own town, but out here seems to be popular.
